A painting of workers loading cargo onto the dhows on the Dubai Creek. This is in old Dubai close to the Spice Souk.

We are back from our visit in Dubai, where it was indeed very hot and humid, but we enjoyed ourselves and saw so much.
And enjoyed the time with our children and grandchildren.
It was a wonderful experience!

Miller’s Point 2

Another painting of the sea just south of Miller’s Point.

Next week we are going to visit our children and grandchildren in Dubai. We are looking forward to it and cannot wait!
We will be away for 2 weeks.
It is very hot and humid there now, but we hope to survive!

Boulders Beach 2

Another view of Boulders Beach.
I decided to paint this one a little lighter than the previous one of Boulders Beach.
Focus on the rocks and not one the lady in the bathing costume!

Please click on the images and wait for them to open.
They look a bit compressed, but when they are open, they look better.

Dune across the street, Strand

My attempt at a watercolor effect.
It is the dune across the street from where I live.

On DUNE 2 on the right is the Strand Pavillion and the Swimming Pool, looking out over False Bay. And in the distance, under a blanket of clouds, is Table Mountain.
